A Levels

Please see more details below regarding our application process to study A Levels at LILA* College:

Step 1: Enquire

There are many ways to get in touch. You can request a prospectus, complete an online enquiry form, book a place at one of our open events, give us a call or pop in. We will be pleased to give you more information on our courses and give an initial indication as to which may be the best course for you.

Step 2: Apply

If you decide you would like to apply for a place, the next step is to complete an online application form and submit the initial documents required. Please also complete our Medical and SEN Declaration form. These are normally a copy of your passport and your recent school reports and qualifications. You can send your application by email, post or bring it to the college. There is no application fee, a registration fee is paid if you join.

Step 3: Interview

The head of admissions will review your documents and if satisfactory, will invite you for an interview. International students may be asked to take an English Language and Mathematics test before the interview. If you are applying for an A-Level course, the interview will be with one or both of our vice principals and/or the head of sixth form. If you are an international student or live far away, it is possible to conduct an interview via Skype. The head of admissions often conducts Skype interviews and discusses the interview with the principal.

Step 4: Offer

The principal will inform the head of admissions whether a place should be offered to the applicant and if so the conditions attached to the offer. Conditions may be academic (ie the student must achieve certain grades at GCSE) or document (such as a school report). If a reference has not already been provided from the applicant’s current/previous school, this will be required.

Step 5: Accept your place

To accept your place you will need to complete an online enrolment form and pay the deposit fee.

Step 6: Application complete

Congratulations! You are now a LILA* College student. We will issue you an acceptance letter.
