Meet the Team
The LILA* team works hard to keep students motivated and ensure they have the best possible experience while studying with us. Our determination to set high academic standards, combined with the friendly and personal service that our students enjoy, mean that LILA* students aim high, achieve their goals and ultimately love to learn.
LILA* teachers are qualified to a minimum of CELTA (level 5) with senior teachers being qualified to Master’s degree and/or diploma level (DELTA / Dip. TESOL – level 7)
The LILA* administration team are always on hand to make sure that the LILA* experience is as easy and straightforward as possible.
Tom Davis
Principal (A Level & UFP)
Overseeing the academic operations and delivery for the A Level and UFP students, Tom has also designed and leads on the delivery of our ‘Progression Platform’ programme of skills-based workshops, which help students to develop leadership and team-working capabilities, to become confident public speakers and to consider issues such as unconscious bias, professionalism online and emotional intelligence.

Vinod Bansee
Senior Teacher (A Level & UFP)
Mr. Bansee holds a degree in Costs and Management and holds further qualifications in Accounting and Business, and teaches A Level Business as well as business and accounting subjects on the UFP. He has 24 years of international education experience.

A member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Ms. Ravi approaches her teaching with an infectious energy and enthusiasm which inspires her students. As personal tutor for all A Level students she provides a personalised and focused level of support which has supported students to achieve great success.

I got a job at LILA* in 2005 and 18 years later, I am the Director of Studies. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m looking forward to the next 20 years! In my free time, I love cooking, gardening and building things out of wood.
