While the weather forecast might not be in our favour for the upcoming August Bank Holiday weekend, there’s no need to let the rain dampen your plans. Liverpool has plenty to offer even on rainy days, ensuring that you can have a fantastic time indoors.

We have made a few suggestions that you can use to explore the rainy weekend in the city:

Tate Liverpool

Escape the rain and enter a world of creativity at Tate Liverpool. This renowned art gallery hosts a diverse range of modern and contemporary artworks that will captivate your imagination. Indoor Mini Golf

Liverpool has a selection of indoor mini golf courses around the city centre, including Junkyard Golf and the newly launched Gravity Max, which is only a two-minute walk away from LILA*. You and your friends can hide from the rain and compete against each other for Mini Golf Champion!

Watch a Movie at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology)

Stay indoors with a bucket of popcorn and enjoy a creative experience at FACT. This media arts centre not only screens the latest films but also hosts exhibitions and events related to digital art, technology, and culture. It’s a great way to spend a rainy day, with plenty to explore.

Board Games and Coffee at Sugar and Dice

Sugar and Dice is a board game café located just outside of Liverpool One on Cornhill. With an extensive collection of board games and card games, along with food and drink, you’re in for hours of laughter, competition, and bonding with friends.
